Community Room, Groton Public Library

The Community Room on the first floor is the Library's most popular meeting room. It is also our Children's Storytime on weekday mornings and Children's Activity Room during after-school hours.
Reservations can be filled out online, in person, or by phone. Meeting Room requests are pending until approved by the Circulation Dept. All bookings must be free and open to the public. Limit of 1 reservation per month. You will receive an update by email.

Historical Room, Groton Public Library

GPL’s Historical Room, located on the third floor, contains historical records of the Town of Groton. The Historical Room is permanently set up with 2 tables and 8 chairs, with 4 additional chairs around the room. No food or beverages other than water are allowed in the Historical Room - and only if no historic documents are out on the table. A Reference Librarian may need to retrieve materials from the collection during a group's use of the room.

Sibley Hall, Groton Public Library

Sibley Hall, located on the second floor, is the library's largest meeting room and our main event space. It is also the Owen Smith Shuman Art Gallery, with rotating shows exhibiting the work of local artists.
Reservations can be filled out online, in person, or by phone. Meeting Room requests are pending until approved by the Circulation Dept. All bookings must be free and open to the public. Limit of 1 reservation per month. Must be 18 and over to book. You will receive an update by email.

Small Conference Room, Groton Public Library
Official Capacity: 6
Booking Period: Between 30 minutes and 2 hours
The Small Conference Room, located on the second floor, is permanently set up with an oblong table and 6 chairs. A white board is available in the room. Dry erase markers may be borrowed from the Circulation Desk.
The Study Room may be booked once per day for up to 2 hours. Because of the high demand for our one study room, a reservation is required for use. Users can remain after their booking if the room is available but must vacate the space as soon as the next person arrives. You will receive an email confirming your reservation. Limit of 4 reservations per month.
