Today’s genealogist is fortunate to have hundreds of free tools at their disposal to aid in almost every research project. Famously, Google seems to have the broadest range of assistance: Google translate, Google books and a plethora of others. Compendium websites that are free can be a blessing to the diligent researcher too. USGenWeb, CyndisList, and Linkpendium come to mind, but learn of these and others that need to be added to your genealogy toolbox.
