VIRTUAL: A Look Back At King Kong -- The 90th Anniversary

Monday, October 306:30—8:00 PMZoom

Celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, King Kong first roared its way into movie houses in 1933. Both technical achievement for its time and thought-provoking fable, it went on to become an iconic part of horror cinema that spawned a legacy and, to date, two remakes. Learn fun facts, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and cast and crew information about this classic and its remakes! Led by Frank Mandosa, a film historian and high school Film and English teacher. Mandosa -- host of the podcasts "Silver Screeners" and "Movies Across The Pod" -- has been giving film lectures at libraries, senior centers, and community centers across the state since 2012.
