VIRTUAL: A Look Back At Jurassic Park -- The 30th Anniversary

Monday, September 116:30—8:00 PMZoom

In the summer of 1993, unsuspecting moviegoers were stunned at the visuals of modern-day human beings in a life and death fight against those prehistoric creatures known as dinosaurs. Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park unleashed his vision of how late 20th century science and technology can sometimes conflict with natural life. Learn about this blockbuster, its two sequels, and the 21st century sequel trilogy that renamed the brand Jurassic World. Led by Frank Mandosa, a film historian and high school Film and English teacher. Mandosa -- host of the podcasts "Silver Screeners" and "Movies Across The Pod" -- has been giving film lectures at libraries, senior centers, and community centers across the state since 2012.
