The Songwriting Workshop will introduce you to all of the tools you'll need to write your own song, as well as the skills and practices to help you develop the craft on your own. Emily Desmond, an award-winning songwriter and Berklee alumni, will cover the foundations of song structure in a 90-min course for beginners. Students will learn the basic elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and lyrics and get hands-on experience writing their own song. (Grades 6-12)
