Science Saturday (Facebook Video)

Saturday, November 132:00—2:15 PMFacebook

Watch our very own Teen Volunteers on YA @ GPL's Facebook page  perform experiments to demonstrate scientific principles using common household items. This week's experiment is the  Archimedes Squeeze.

The Archimedes principle states that anything completely or partially submerged in a fluid at rest, is acted upon by an upward force. This law is shown through this fun experiment! The supplies you need to partake in this experiment are: paper towels, paper towels, aluminum foil, a container full of water,  scissors, a ruler, a pen, and a permanent marker.

Follow along on the Facebook page and try it for yourself!
