In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and in partnership with various of organizations and businesses in town, Lawrence Academy welcomes author Jenn De Leon to discuss her book, White Space.

Sometime in her twenties, Jennifer DeLeon asked herself, "What would you do if you just gave yourself permission?" She gave herself permission to return-to learn the Spanish that she had forgotten, unpack her family's history in Guatemala, and begin to make her own way in writing. DeLeon comes of age as a Guatemalan-American woman and learns to navigate the space between two worlds.
