The Groton Conservation Trust protects land across Groton for YOU. Like the library, the GCT offers a free public resource for the enjoyment and benefit of the community, and protects open space and the wildlife that inhabit it.
The GCT protects nearly 1,500 acres across town with miles of trails for walking, nature viewing, snowshoeing, photography, and just enjoying the outdoors. Enjoy visiting the spectacular views and wildflowers at The General Field and the other 40+ protected conservation areas the GCT stewards in town.
A wide range of free family-friendly walks, educational programs, and hands-on activities are offered year round. Learn more at gctrust.org and join the GCT's free monthly newsletter (no spam!) for updates. All are welcome!
Rain Date Only!
