This event will take place at the Gazebo on the Town Field.

Tom Sieling, widely acclaimed singer and guitar, banjo, and drum machine player, will perform a free family/children’s program called “Take a Tromp through the Swamp!” Tom has delighted tens of thousands in over thirty years of performing - 57 Summer Reading programs in 2019 (pre-Covid!). Every show is a top-ten lineup of most fun, most participatory kids’ and camp songs he can dig up and adapt - many are even a bit athletic! He accompanies himself on guitar, banjo, and harmonica, and adds a drum machine to keep things upbeat and easy to move to. In keeping with the “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” Summer Reading theme, the most cool, interesting nature facts and pictures he can find are included, along with lots of encouragement of the kids' lifelong participation in hiking, camping, music, reading, and library usage.
