IN PERSON: Sunday Concert Series: Triology

Sunday, February 123:30—4:30 PMSibley HallGroton Public Library99 Main St., Groton, MA, 01450

Mixing Jazz and Latin in eclectic arrangements of old and new, famous and obscure, hot and cool, Triology plays a wide variety of material with international influences. The members originate from three different continents and each brings their own unique experience to the music.

Ranging from straight ahead swing to explorations of Latin rhythms and odd time signatures on Jazz tunes, standards, original compositions, folk melodies, and the occasional pop hit, Triology puts its unique imprint on the music.

Bassist Tal Shalom-Kobi, drummer Renato Malavasi, and singer Reed Coumoyer formed Triology in 2018. They perform in both concert and club settings and bring something a little bit different to the Jazz trio format.

Made possible by the Groton Public Library Endowment Trust.
