October 15 – Daniel Gay

Travel the world through the music of Daniel Gay. Interweaving piano, guitar, and accordion, Gay draws on influences from Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. His music is often inspired by the students he has taught throughout his twenty-five years in the music classroom.

November 19 – Hungrytown

Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, through their years of worldwide touring and tireless devotion to many classic genres of music, have crafted Hungrytown into a true artistic hybrid, able to hold Celtic and Americana, ballads and psychedelia, sunshine and darkness, joy and despair--not only within the same album, but within the same song.

“It’s great to hear an act eschew sentimentality in favor of honesty and to prove that you don’t have to go raiding the memory of others to find the stuff that really good songs are made of,” writes Jedd Beaudoin of Popmatters. Lyricist Rebecca Hall is credited with compositions “that sound as timeless as any traditional songs” (Northern Sky, UK) while producer/multi-instrumentalist/husband Ken Anderson is lauded for his “remarkable affinity for instrumental embellishment” (No Depression) and for crafting Hungrytown’s “gorgeous vocal harmonies” (Folk and Roots, UK).

Hungrytown's music has received extensive radio airplay worldwide and has appeared on several television shows, including The Daily Show and Portlandia.

December 17 – Cold Chocolate

Cold Chocolate is a genre-bending Americana band that fuses folk, funk, and bluegrass to create a unique sound all their own. Featuring Ethan Robbins on guitar and mandolin & Ariel Bernstein on percussion and banjo, this power duo from Boston is impressing audiences throughout New England and beyond. Punctuated by tight harmonies and skillful musicianship, and with a focus on songwriting, Cold Chocolate has quickly gained recognition for their original music and high-energy shows. The band has shared bills with Leftover Salmon and David Grisman, and regularly performs at venues and music festivals across the country.

January 21 - Scott Oulette, Guitar

Scott Oulette currently performs in concert halls and small venues, performing his original music, as well as standards in the classical and Spanish guitar repertoire. Scott Ouellette is a self-taught classical/solo guitarist living on the east coast of the United States. He first began playing the guitar at age 7. Soon he discovered the sounds of Andres Segovia, Christopher Parkening and Konrad Ragossnig. Not having a teacher available, he used the recordings of classical guitarists as his guide, and taught himself how to read music during the process.
