After spending a couple years at New England Conservatory, he graduated with a B.A. in Performance & Representation from Tufts University. Along with Roy Nathanson of the Jazz Passengers, he co-founded the 5pm Porch Concerts Program, an educational and performance collective that emerged from their daily concerts throughout the pandemic. His other projects include Pumpkin Bread, a Boston-based acoustic band, and Lissy & the Jacks, a Brooklyn-based honky-tonk group. Aidan performs regularly with a variety of groups in New York and co-leads the Multigenerational Playing for the Light Big Band, a large ensemble that performs original music and poetry composed by Brooklyn teens.
