This talk will be the first in a series about conservation lands in Groton.

This first presentation will introduce many of our conservation lands, some relatively unknown. It will also demystify the various organizations working to acquire, maintain, and manage lands open to the public, how these processes work, what happens behind the scenes, etc. Recent activity in these areas will be discussed, including current issues.
