Ever wanted to give the most popular dance of the 1920s a try? Now is your chance! Learn about the dance itself and then get moving with experienced instructors as your guide! No experience or partner necessary.
Come learn the lively dance of the 1920s and 1930s! The Charleston! As taught by Mike from Boston Swing Central. We will explore the roots of the Charleston, how it became the iconic dance craze of the 1920s and how it evolved through the 1930s as a pillar of the lindy hop. No dancing shoes required, no partner required! Just bring comfortable shoes to do some athletic high energy dancing and bring a good attitude to learn something new!
