Kids grades 4 through 6 join in all week to learn about creating their own comics! Sign up for the entire series.

The camp is designed to run for 4 consecutive days for 2-hr blocks each day. Each day we will cover 1-2 topics and allow for work and coaching time:

Day One: Creating characters and story arcs

Day Two: Personal comics (autobiographical and nonfiction approaches to comics

making) and thumbnailing

Day Three: Visual research and drawing in pencil

Day Four: Inking and finalizing your comic

About the Cartoonist: Massachusetts native Jonathan Todd is the author/illustrator of Timid (Scholastic/Graphix Fall 2023), a forthcoming middle-grade graphic novel. He is a co-founder of the Boston Kids Comics Fest: https://bostonkidscomicsfest.org.
